Time: An Echocardiography takes approximately 15 minutes to perform.

The Echocardiography is performed in Room No: 13 and 14 on our OPD block.

The Echocardiography offers a wide spectrum of services. We have conventional two-dimensional echocardiography with spectral and colorflow Doppler studies. These can be used to not only to assess the heart anatomically but also in most patients we can assess LV systolic and diastolic function as well as give estimates of intracardiac chamber pressures and the severity of gradients across stenotic valves. We offer transesophageal echocardiography for detailed assessment of cardiac anatomy and function. We also offer stress echocardiography using TMT machine or pharmacologic stress echocardiography using dobutamine for those patients unable to perform exercise. Contrast echocardiography can be performed for chamber opacification in that patient who may be technically difficult to image.
