Time: An ECG takes approximately 5 minutes to perform.

The ECG is performed in OPD block Room No: 9. we also offer a mobile service for patients in the wards .

ECG is short for electrocardiogram. It is the most basic of tests for the hearts function and records the electrical activity of the heart. The test is done by lying on a bed with a bare chest in order to have the electrodes applied. An ECG does not involve needles and is absolutely painless. An electrocardiogram is the name given to the tracing generated by the electrocardiograph machine.
